We were born in water, we are made mostly of water, and we rely fully on water for our well-being and survival; it is no wonder that water-based displays will always capture our attention. The following Techno-Marketing™ water technologies stand amongst the most amazing in the industry.

WATER SCULPTURES

What a soothing way to animate a space: air bubbles slowly rising in any physical or lighting configuration you choose.  Imagine a tunnel of these as you enter or, arranged in a semi-circle, you can create a portable liquid Parthenon.

A thick, acrylic tube holds fluids that build in intensity (the electronics are concealed in the polished chrome base) until a miniature cyclone forms. The swirling vortices and mercury-like bubbles are choreographed to colored flashing lights

Use these in Exhibits, Retail Spaces, Office Interiors, Museums, Restaurants, etc.  If you have an aquatic theme, this is an excellent way to reinforce it.  If you have an environment that seems too static, Water Columns will provide a cost, and visually, effective decoration.

These illuminated Water Message Panels generate words or images through electronically-controlled rising bubbles and have the ability to store up to 28 repeating patterns.

Cost effective Water Walls can be fabricated a wide variety of sizes.  These mirror reflective walls have a tranquill flow of water over them and are capable of diplaying projected images via a simple water window light box on up to a gas plasma screen enabaling you to display full motion video. When display is turned of, the water effect covers any trace of its existance. They may also be floor-mounted, attached to walls or suspended from ceilings.

This is a 10 by 5-foot wide bubble-making sculpture, continuously produces multi-colored bubbles that rise to the surface.  The sculpture is a tall glass monolith controlled by a sophisticated, computer-controlled hydraulic system that constantly moves and recycles the bubbles.  When banked in three’s, this technology makes a living sculptural wall that makes a profoundly beautiful statement about the complexity of a “simple” bubble.

Giant Lava Lamps are not any more complicated than their little cousins; they’re just bigger.  And bigger, in this case, is better.  Huge globs of “lava” float several feet up through a glass chamber that comes in diameters of 4 or 6 inches and in heights up to 6 feet.

WATER SPECIAL f/x

Fountains that dance to music and are tinted like an artist’s palette.

Invisible to an audience, a wall of droplets sprayed at very high pressures forms the screen.  The suspended veil of water, which can reach the epic proportions of 17 meters high and 33 meters wide, acts as a projection screen surface onto which specially produced films and animation are made to appear.  This magic is further enhanced by the multi-media effects of powerful lasers and choreographed sound - all exquisitely integrated for each nightly show in the great outdoors.  More compact versions of this technology are available for indoor presentations.

WATER FOUNTAINS

Elegant marble or granite walls configured to any space with soft sheets of water running down them. Many custom designs possible.

Imagine a maze without the hedges; the Maze Fountain invites you to enter and exit without getting a drop on you (it is possible once you figure it out).  But beware as you make your way through the Water Maze, as the computer might change the pattern unexpectedly.  The embedded jets course upward at varying heights at unexpected times and in unexpected places.

Hundreds of jewel-like droplets appear to defy gravity by traveling several feet up through the air before disappearing into an overhead enclosure set over a pool.  The droplets can appear to hang motionless in the air or rise and fall to synchronized music.

Same as the above but over custom-designed wishing wells.  Many other fountain designs are possible.

With no apparent source, logos, words & phrases float on water in lovely, custom-designed gazing pools and running brooks.  A touch-sensitive pad, when activated, causes the letters to break apart chaotically, then regroup to once again form coherent words.

A large stone urn, 1.4 meters in diameter, is filled by visitors operating 4 water jets - located at the fountain’s edges – that converge to fill the urn, until it tips over in a seemingly uncontrolled or chaotic manner. Unexplainably, the urn always returns to the center of the pool where it once again waits to be refilled by visitors. The concept behind the Zen Fountain is gravity displacement; how does an object so heavy right itself?

The Chaotic Fountain is a kinetic sculpture composed of 12-bucket cones, pierced in their bases, attached to a stainless-steel wheel.  The axle of the wheel is fitted with blades that continuously fan the pool of water above it into waves.  These waves fill the cones and, depending upon the volume of water in each cone, will cause the wheel to turn forward or backward, rapidly or slowly.  Unpredictable and soothing.

One Rainbow Fountain unit pulses out 250 gallons of water per minute, leaping in a perfect arc into the other unit.  The fun begins in watching whether people choose to duck, run or walk through the tunnel and, unless it’s a windy day, there’s no dripping.  Embedded colored lights transform the fountain into an enchanting display at dusk.  Many variations of this theme are possible.
